When Lito Atienza said he would no longer be a member of the Cabinet in order to run for Manila Mayor in the upcoming elections, voters were certainly gifted with a great choice for the leader of the city. Lito Atienza is most definitely one of the most powerful in Philippine politics and is gifted with a formidable family background. Numerous members of his relatives are in themselves highly visible members of the history of Philippine politics.
